Detroit has always known how to move a dancefloor, and Magick Traxx is taking that energy to the heavy end of Drum & Bass. The Detroit-based DJ, producer and vocalist plays sets that swing between neurofunk, jump-up and proper Jungle. Fast percussion, gritty synths and bass-heavy drops built to rattle the rig. Her selections come from the sharpest corners of the scene. Cuts from Eatbrain , Neuropunk and Jungle Cakes sit alongside heavyweights like Original Sin, Venjent and Phace . It’s a wide spread, but the rule is simple: if it hits hard and moves bodies, it makes the cut. She also has a soft spot for breaks, electro and garage, and you can hear that wider Detroit DNA in how she blends. Behind the decks, Magick Traxx is known for raw mixing energy and livestreams that feel like a club night beamed straight into your front room. Her mixes have featured on the Best Drum and Bass Podcast
