Luca Guerrieri is back on his DVS Records imprint with ‘Do Your Thing’, landing on 16th October, and he’s digging deep into disco territory. The Tuscany-based producer has been doing his thing since 1995, with a catalogue that stretches from Pete Tong-supported records to Fatboy Slim reworking his track ‘Only You’ into ‘Role Model’. Following a busy summer of releases, he’s keeping the momentum going. Built around a reworked sample of First Choice’s disco classic ‘The Player’, ‘Do Your Thing’ packs swinging house grooves, chunky basslines and big atmospheric builds into a proper hands-in-the-air disco workout. It’s got that classic feel, but plenty of punch for today’s dancefloors. We’re premiering ‘Do Your Thing’ today on Data Transmission. Get stuck in! ‘Do Your Thing’ lands on Traxsource promo on 16th October , with the full release following on 30th October via DVS Records. Data Tran
